The biggest name in Irish Wrestling Sheamus O'Shaunessy looks set to become Ireland's first movie action hero as he shot scenes in gory movie 3CROSSES last weekend...

To tell the truth ShowBiz Ireland couldn't be more excited about the prospect of a giant red-headed muscle bound mountain of Irishness taking Hollywood in a strangle hold and squeezing out a submission!

And bad wrestling metaphors aside this prospect could be very much on-the-cards as we witnessed Sheamus O'Shaunessy (SOS) take his first confident steps into movies in uber-violent Irish movie 3CROSSES after we were invited on set in sunny Ticknock Wood last weekend...

Despite the fact the movie's makers, Jason & Jonathan Figgis, wrapped up filming a few months back and are well into post production and wrestling with the Film Censor - the SOS scene was inserted after the brothers spotted the Celtic Colossus pounding some heads at a recent bout in The Laughter Lounge.

Jonathan Figgis told ShowBiz Ireland: "He's huge! The contrast between Sheamus and his assassin Hytham in terms of size will really bring it home to the audience just how dangerous and sadistic of a killer he is... It's a brutal scene but it's really going to stand-out."

And as you may have ascertained by the above statement poor Sheamus finds himself and the end of a brutal torture and murder by baddie Hytham Martin and it doesn't end there - during the filming Hytham forgot to pull one of his punches and slammed SOS into the bridge-of-the-nose with a chain wrapped around his knuckles leaving a two inch gash! Luckily for Hytham, Sheamus saw the funny side of it...

The movie's director Jason Figgis was instantly impressed by Sheamus after seeing the first few minutes of the fight sequence, he whispered to ShowBiz Ireland: "I have the perfect role for Sheamus in a Horror flick we are working on next with some big name actors, I just hope he doesn't overshadow our leading lady!"

SOS is out of Ireland for the next three weeks after being head-hunted as the main attraction in Europe's Biggest Wrestling show called All Star Wrestling but he will be back to defend his IWW belt in the Laughter Lounge on June 18th... DO NOT MISS IT!
