Our eagle-eyed snappers spotted Ronan and his wife Yvonne leaving their Manchester hotel with a handful of cute young kids we assume were their children Jack, Marie and Ali.

We noticed that Yvonne secured the youngest girl inside her own seatbelt and propped her up on her lap as the car drove off... Now, we're not too sure about car safety laws about children's car seats - but didn't Britney Spears get vilified in the press recently for a similar incident with her child?

We're sure that Yvonne and child were perfectly safe and we must assume that things like children's car seats aren't always available for travelling families on-the-go... But should a car crash occur while having a child on your lap, even if it's inside your seatbelt, this practice could result in catastrophic and tragic outcomes. Belt them up in their own specific child's seat for maximum safety folks. That's our travelling tip for the day!
