Duncan James The NV Of Clubs...
Former Blue singer Duncan James brought his pretty boy good self to Dublin last weekend to check out the new NV nightclub on Leeson Street. Surrounded by Glenda Gilson and a bevy of beauties, our Dunc seemed more interested in getting his lips around a creamy pint o' the black stuff than eyeing up the talent on show...

For many a year pre Celtic Tiger, if you wanted to splash out on a slap-up night-out in Dublin you donned a piano key necktie, put half a can of hairspray into your flock-of-seagulls fringe, Miami Viced-up your suit, and made your way to Leeson Street. Or 'the strip' as it was once infamously called...

But with the advent of wealthy w**ker Ireland, discerning clubbers moved their VIP taste buds closer to the city centre and clubs such as Lillies Bordello and Renards. Thus, the hay-day of the Leeson Street Strip was over and confined to nostalgic trips down the 80's memory lane...

But all that may be about to change. Like our return to 80's mass unemployment, Leeson Street may be about to become popular again with the launch of the new NV club on 'The Strip'. Yup. Teenage heartthrob Duncan was on hand to get the females interested, but he wasn't alone. Tall glass of water Xpose presenter Glenda Gilson was by his side to provide the eye candy for the snappers at the launch. Sure where would the Irish media be without The Glenda?

Clozure & Izabela Chudzicka |
Other suited and booted guests at the launch included: Tara Sinnott, Shiralee Coleman, Prue Wade, Clozure boyband, Izabela Chudzicka, Hayley Rock, Avril Kelly, Caitriona O'Connor, and many more...

And you would think that with all those hot gals around our Duncan's head would have been turned? Not on your Nelly. The ice-skating star only had eyes for creamy pints of Guinness at the launch, leaving the ladies a little in the cold in the sidelines. Proper order too.

So there you have it folks, new life is about to be breathe into Leeson Street with NV club. And if you don't fancy going there for the female attractions on show lads, apparently they pull a fine pint of the black stuff. Just ask Duncan James.
