Nicky doing fine after car crash...

The mother of Georgina Ahern last night told ShowBizIreland.com exclusively that both her daughter and Nicky from Westlife are fine after their weekend car crash in London. "They were very upset but Georgina rang me straight away to say they were fine. They were very lucky. They are staying in London all week and will be back in Ireland on Sunday ahead of the Westlife concerts which start on Monday."

Sources close to the band explained that the couple were in a taxi on their way from a party after the bands first Wembley concert. The band were parting in Home house in London when they left to go back to their hotel. The crash happened around 3.30 am on Sunday morning when Nicky and Georgina's car was hit.

Louis Walsh the bands manager said the couple were very lucky to escape. The band were also celebrating their EIGHT number one single over the weekend when their Comic Relief single, Up town girl, reached the top of the charts in the UK.

Next Monday the band will play a record 11 nights in The Point in Dublin.
