has Moore than meets the eye...
James
Bond star Roger Moore jetted into Dublin
yesterday for his latest mission which was to hit
the women of Ireland for cash. But, it was all in
a good cause even if his guests were a little shaken
and stirred by the whole event. Moore who is a UNICEF
Ambassador alongside their patron Liam Neeson
came to Dublin to host the annual UNICEF mothers day
launch in the exclusive Conrad Hilton Hotel.
Moore
amongst the ladies again
Speaking
to a crowd of hundreds of middle aged women Moore
was mobbed after talking in-depth about his life since
getting involved with UNICEF - singing his praise
for the late Audrey Hepburn. "Audrey got me
into the whole UNICEF situation because for me all
I had was statistics without faces. What I had to
do was go into the field as a member of UNICEF. So
that's what I did , I signed up."
Moore
not Shaken
"I'm
proud to say I get paid. I get the sum of $1 a year.
With UNICEF I've traveled to South America and El
Salvador where I got the sense of death in the air
half a mile from the site of the hospital I was going
to, that will just tell you what we're all here for
today."
Moore
speech was so emotional that it got a standing ovation
and following that the aging actor was mobbed by fans
demanding photo's and autograph's.
