Lopez eyes up a Dublin Date...

Jennifer Lopez wants to stage a concert in Ireland before the end of the year. The stunning actress and singer has her sights set on a show at the Point Theatre in November. The millionaire promised her Irish fans that she would stage a concert in Dublin two years ago when she first broke into the music world.

Now insiders say she is set to fulfill the pledge as part of a massive world tour. "The America leg of the tour will kick off in August and then she wants to visit everywhere. Ireland is one of the top priorities for a concert in the winter when the tour gets to Europe."

Lopez, who has recently split from rapper Puff Daddy, will put her acting career on hold for a year to concentrate on the tour. She has hired America's top choreographers and set designers to create a spectacular tour which rivals past shows by Madonna and Michael Jackson.

Her latest album, J.LO has become a massive world-wide hit and demand for live concert appearances is huge. "She could perform in every country in the world at the minute because she is so popular," said the source. "But obviously if there are only around ten live dates in Europe Dublin will be one of them. She said before that performing in Ireland was one of her ambitions. A concert at the Point in November or December is now a real possibility - the fans in Ireland are desperate to see her in the flesh."
