Pop Idol Will parties in U2's Kitchen...

Pop Idol Will Young made a surprise trip to Dublin on Tuesday and partied the night away in U2's niteclub.

The 22 year-old star was working on his new album at the renowned Windmill Lane studios, while also taking a break from the hysteria that is currently surrounding him in the UK.

Spotted in U2's trendy nightclub, The Kitchen, onlookers were surprised as he danced the night away and relaxed in the company of a mysterious blonde.

Accompanied by two hefty minders, Will enjoyed pints of lager in the clubs VIP area.

Casually dressed, he chatted politely to the many girls who were swarming around him.

"He looked like he was having a great time, he was very unassuming. There was a small blonde girl with him, she was quite pretty but it was difficult to tell if they were romantically attached or just friends", said a fellow clubber.

Will's debut single, Evergreen / Anything is Possible, is set to take the No.1 position in the UK charts on Sunday.

He is on target to sell over 1 million copies, after 560,000 sold out within 48 hours of its release on Monday.

It has even been said by industry sources that Will's single outsold all other 199-chart tracks put together!
