Flatley's not Floating home...

Reports are in the air that the Irish dance master Michael Flatley may be on his way home to his Cork home with his girlfriend Lisa Murphy.

Apparently Flatley abandoned plans for the £100m stock market flotation of his management company, Unicorn Entertainment.

Flatley's publicist told us that he was to float the company and still retain a majority stake in the business himself. Making him even richer then he is now.

Word from the London business papers is that the dancer-turned-businessman decided to pull the float when he returned from his two-month holiday in Barbados last week with Lisa.

According to reports Flatley was advised by Teather & Greenwood, who had assembled an executive management team headed by Peter Teague, the former Deputy chief executive of BBC Worldwide.

Word was that Flatley wanted to build the company into a media giant, which would no doubt make that movie about his life, which he has been telling us about for the past two years.

Another idea was that Flatley would use the new company to branch out in to Lord of the Dance Irish bars.

Recent city reports claim that the company, made an operating profit of £19m last year on a turnover of £40m.
