Abs & Dane DJ at new Tivoli Club...

The most anticipated party of the year (apart from the ShowBizIreland.com party of course!) was held on Friday night, with the launch of Dublin's newest superclub, The Tivoli.

With 2000 VIP's enjoying Dane Bowers and Abs from Five on the decks, it was certainly a night to remember.

Hugh Scully, of Blue PR, told ShowBizIreland.com: "The night went really well. We were very surprised at the shear volume of people here."

It was reported in the press that it took 3 weeks to transform the former theatre venue into the amazing dance venue it now is.

However we can reveal that the owners had only 12 days to complete the makeover, which cost over €3 million.

With a top-of –the-range lighting and sound system, the club also comes complete with special dance areas and an exclusive VIP area.

Co-owner Peter May said: "The response has been amazing. The hard work has clearly paid off".

Saturday night saw the official opening to the capital's clubbers, with David Holmes playing an hour long set, followed by Ireland's own Johnny Moy.
