Witherspoon to film Vanity Fair in Dublin...

Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon is to jet into Ireland this summer when Dublin will be transformed into 1820's London for her next movie Vanity Fair.

The Legally Blonde star is due to spend 11 weeks in Dublin filming her role in the 20 million euro movie.

The movie is based on a novel by William Thackeray and focuses on the story of Becky Sharp, played by Witherspoon, who uses her wit and charm to break through social circles in 1820's London.

Dublin proved to be the perfect location for the shoot due to the abundance of exterior and interior Georgian architecture.

Conformation has also been given that Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer will shoot his next move King Arthur here in the summer. King Arthur will be played by Clive Owen and Stephen Dillane.

Bruckheimer filmed The Veronica Guerin Story here last year with Cate Blanchett.
