Seeking Fame...
It looks like hit 80s TV show FAME may be coming to
a TV set near you but this time with an Irish slant
- sounds cheesy? Well not if Caroline Morahan
has anything to do with it!

Sometimes
when you are walking the streets of Dublin you see
the strangest sights, well it is a bit of a nutty
city! But last week as ShowBiz Ireland passed
Castle Street we saw something probably last seen
on the streets of New York in the early 80s...
DANCERS ON TV SET
|
Off
The Rails TV presenter Caroline Morahan
was at the helm of about 30 dancers dressed in sweat
gear, leg warmers and head bands all moving in sync
to music.

We
inquired about the show but the producers were staying
tightlipped about the format and even the name but
from what we could make out it looked like a dance
version of Pop Idol without the singing and
Simon Cowell.

Perhaps
RTE are doing an Irish version of MTV's Wade
Robson Project? Whatever the show's about we'll
soon find out when it hits our TV screens later this
year...

Also
out entertaining the masses last week were a group
of Irish celebs from the worlds of politics, modeling,
journalism, comedy, and soap opera to race fast cars
in the name of charity.

And
it was nice to see Fair City's Mondo inside
a car and not on top of it! He won the race and his
girlfriend Linzi Cowap seemed delighted with
the young actor landing a big smooch on his lips when
he got his trophy!
