Richard Harris comes home...

CBS television joined the veteran Irish actor Richard Harris in his home town of Limerick yesterday to get a tour of where he grew up.

The 70 year old actor held court in his favorite pub The Charlie St George as a US television crew from the hit show sixty minutes recorded him around his home town on a tour of his old haunts.

The show was trying to find out what brought the actor to the place in life that he was in now and why he had become the man he had become.

Sources close to the show have said that Harris has always been proud of being Irish and they wanted to find out why.

The actor is having a revival at the moment and is currently staring in the first Harry Potter movie and will also soon be seen in the Irish made epic The Count of Monte Cristo.

He is then set to start work on a new Irish film playing the Pope in a movie called The Magnificant.

Following this he will return to his home in Kilkee in Limerick to make a presentation to the people of the village.
