Irons & Cucask to sell dream castle...

The Hollywood actor Jeremy Irons and his Irish wife Sinead Cusack have been forced to sell their Irish castle ShowBizIreland.com can reveal. The couple who bought the castle three years ago have spent over £1 million pounds trying to convert the castle into a home for disadvantaged children.

This week the castle was put on the market after local authorities said the building was to close to the dangerous cliffs. The once ruined castle is near Ballydehob near Cork.

Recently Irons painted the castle in Peach / Terracotta which local residents say looks silly. Some say it sticks out like a sore thumb. With it's new paint work others say it is nearly illuminates they skyline.

Irons is married to the actress Sinead Cuack for the past 23 years and even stared in the flop movie Dungeons and Dragons to fund the castle which was his dream.

The couple still live near the castle in the local village of Skibereen.
