Watch out World: Irish Popstars!!!

Irish pop guru Louis Walsh is (as we told you a few months ago) set to run an Irish version of Popstars with the Irish TV station TV3. The Irish manager who has already made stars of Boyzone, Westlife, Samantha Mumba and now Bellefire says he's new Popstars will be better then the UK's version.

"I didn't think the UK Popstars were very good" Louis told the Irish press. "It was compulsive viewing but I would not have picked the same band and the songs were not very good. We'll do a much better job in Ireland and get more talent."

The manger then took a punch at Geri Halliwell by saying, "To be a star the most important thing is to have drive and ambition but not the talent. Just look at Geri Halliwell. She's got the drive and ambition but no talent".

The manager also says he is raising he's management rate from 20% to 25% because he's worth it and he only works with Irish people.
