Ronan's Cover Going to the Top...

Ronan Keating may be back at the top of the charts this weekend after his recent cover version of the Garth Brooks song with sales rocketing it through the midweek charts.

If Keating's cover, If Tomorrow Never Comes, continues to sell as well as it had been doing for the past week it may hit the number one spot.

Reports are that the single will knock the current number one from Holly Valance Kiss Kiss from Number One.

It will be the first Number one the singer has had in a long time.

It has already sold 150,000 copies despite being a cover version. The original Garth Brooks version never really broke into the UK market although was a big hit here in Ireland.

But as the song was not written by Ronan he will not get very much money for the single, only performing royalties.

The singer is set to return to TV on May 18th when he can be seen performing with the legendary Lulu on her Audience With TV show alongside Samantha Mumba.
