Frasier Films in The Park...

The world's most famous TV shrink Kelsey Grammer aka Frasier Crane has arrived in Ireland to start work on his new movie.

Kelsey flew into Dublin last week to start work on the movie about Benedict Arnold, set in America during its War of Independence.

In the film Grammer plays the role of the America's first President George Washington - he stars alongside the Irish actor Aiden Quinn, Flora Montgomery, Tom Murphy and Robert Price. The movie is being directed by Mikael Salomon.

Grammer is currently in Ireland with his wife and was filming in Dublin's Marley Park over the weekend where the Irish Star newspaper's photographer got a picture of him in full costume.

This movie is just one of the current stream of films being shot in Ireland at the moment.

Jerry Bruckheimer is currently finishing his movie on the murdered Irish journalist Veronica Guerin while Neil Jordan is finishing up his movie The Actors which stars Michael Caine and Dylan Moran.
