In recent years Irish cinema has moved from the stereotypical rural setting to the more gritty urban setting; giving movie goers across the globe a more realistic view of Ireland today.

The movie 3Crosses, currently shooting in Dublin, goes that step further telling the violent story of Jay (Karl Hayden) and Jonnie Linski (Emmet Scanlan), two Polish-Irish brothers who try to come to terms with the brutal murder of their youngest sibling, Danny.

The murder haunts bare-knuckle fighter Jonnie (seen here with Keith Duffy's gun to his head), as he battles with his own demons and a personal investigation into those responsible for the killing.

A number of big Irish and international stars have jumped at the opportunity to work with the Figgis brothers on this movie already with the likes of Keith Duffy (brutal henchman) and model Caprice Bourret (Niteclub owner Malle) with scenes in-the-bag.

Colin Farrell is also expected to take a small cameo role in this movie as well as another few big name stars - but for the moment the brothers Figgis are trying to keep-a-lid on the massive amount of hype building around this movie...
