His heart may be in Cork but Johnny Rhys Meyers was born in Dublin and he is back on the ShowBiz city of Ireland for the summer to film TV drama The Tudors.

ShowBiz Ireland caught up with the handsome actor this month as he partied the night away with friends at a Brian Jonestown Massacre concert in Vicar Street.

But we haven't spotted him on the set of the period drama about reign and marriages of British monarch King Henry VIII which was filming this week at Dublin Castle and locations in Kilmainham.
