At H.G.E. 2008, there were a couple of highlights with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Radio Soulwax headlining Friday and Saturday night respectively. Support acts David Graney & Riton and Das Pop deserve a mention too...

But Sunday night was Thee Night for us with the sensational 'The Kooks' headlining on a warm and balmy evening in Dublin City Centre. You don't usually get the weather in this part of the world, but when you do, a music festival is the place to be with a cold one in your hand...

The Kooks were supported by Irish band The Coronas. Apparently, the lead singer with The Coronas, Danny O'Reilly, is the son of Irish trad legend Mary Black... Interesting fact o' the day.
