Today, Bubble Hits launches as Ireland's only dedicated music channel on digital TV. To celebrate, the Bubble heads at the hip music station have hooked-up with Westlife manager Louis Walsh, who will present his own show, called 'Louis' BIG ONE's'.

Ireland's top model, Glenda Gilson, has already cut-her-teeth as a presenter on Bubble Hits along-side Liam McKenna. With the addition of X Factor judge Louis Walsh, the station is sure to be a ratings winner with younger audiences...

We caught up with Glenda and Liam in Dublin this week as they prepared to launch the new Irish channel... And, like a cheeky leprechaun, Louis Walsh popped-out from behind the Bubble Hits hoarding to suprise his new colleagues as their work mate.

Louis' new show will run every Sunday from 3-5pm. He told us: "Every week I will work with the team at Bubble Hits selecting songs I like for my show. It will be THE place to see who is going to be the next big thing. Bubble Hits has a proven track record in the UK and Europe. It's a music channel that plays music, and not those boring reality shows - it's just music TV, the right way. At last we'll have Irish music by Irish Bands on an Irish channel."

Bubble Hits was launched in the UK and Ireland in 2006 by 22-year-old duo, James Hyland and Lee Walsh. This year the channel will cover all summer festivals including Oxegen, Electric Picnic, Cois Fharriage and Live at the Marquee in Cork...

After the photocall, The Glenda showed off her new convertible Alfa Romeo sports car to impressed Louis & Liam... We know GG is a director of 'Gilson Motors' along with her brother Damien, but we doubt if she'll allow this sporty little number to go on their forecourt anytime soon...
