The havoc ridden Irish movie The Limo Man looks set to be delayed yet again after actress Melanie Griffith was admitted to an addiction clinic. The 43-year-old star, who is married to Spanish heart throb Antonio Banderas, is addicted to slimming pills and prescription drugs and filming on the movie may now be delayed yet again due to this.

She was admitted to a clinic in Los Angeles last week under the name of Broadway legend Tallulah Bankhead, according to the Sun newspaper.

The Working Girl star is expected to remain a patient for at least a month and will miss Catherine Zeta Jones wedding to Michael Douglas this Saturday in Wales.

Melanie and Antonio, 40, became friendly with Welsh-born Catherine when she starred alongside the Spanish actor in The Mask of Zorro.

Melanie battled drink and drug addiction in the 1980s while married to Miami Vice star Don Johnson.
