Ronan to host 2001 MTV Awards...

Ireland’s Ronan Keating has exclusively revealed to ShowBizIreland.com that he is to host the 2001 MTV awards for a record third time. The awards which will be held in Barcelona, Spain next November will see Ronan take control of the awards which is broadcast in front of one billion people world-wide.

“I was out for dinner last night with the heads of MTV and they asked me if I would be interested in hosting the awards next year in Spain and I said I’d love to. So we’ll see what happens.”

In the meantime Ronan’s pop rival Robbie Williams caused up a stir at this years MTV awards in Stockholm. Sources close to the singer say they saw him leave the Grand hotel in Stockholm after the stars party a little worse for drink.

“Robbie was in a bad way when I saw him. He was falling out from the grand hotel very very drunk” the source revealed.

Friends of the star are now worried that the singer may be returning to his old way of drink and drugs which ended the star up in massive trouble after the break up of Take That.
