Ronan & Craig fall to Destiny...
Irish
singers Ronan Keating and the UK's Craig
David will both see their unbroken run of solo
number ones come to an end at the weekend - beaten
by the power of Charlie's Angels. Both chart
heavyweights were competing to chalk up a hat-trick
of consecutive number ones when chart positions are
announced on Sunday.
But
the pair will have to be content with top five positions
behind Independent Woman by Destiny's Child,
who took Ronan's home town of Dublin by storm on Tuesday
night.
The
song taken from the Charlie's Angels soundtrack, according
to industry figures. Keating has previously topped
the charts with When You Say Nothing At All
and Life Is A Rollercoaster, as well as his
six number ones with Boyzone.
However
he is expected to weigh in at only number five, on
current sales patterns, with The Way You Make Me
Feel.
Craig
David has been at the top with Fill Me In
and Seven Days, but his Walking Away
is expected to stall at number three.
It will be the first number one for Destiny's Child,
who are expected to displace LeAnn Rimes.
The
Beatles are in line to stay at number one in the
album charts with their release 1, which on Sunday
became the year's fastest seller. It surpassed first
week sales for Robbie Williams's Sing When
You're Winning and Oasis's Standing
On The Shoulder Of Giants.
