Fifth
Avenue join Weslife & The Corrs...
Ireland's latest pop sensation Fifth Avenue
are to join The Corrs and Westlife in
stage this Friday in Belfast for the annual Children
in Need concert.
The
show which will be broadcast by BBC television and
comes only days before the Dublin band release their
second single which looks set to follow the bands
first hit "Spanish Eyes."
The
launch will be in Dublin's Annabels nightclub
and will be hosted by Kerry Katona, the wife
to be of Westlife's Bryan McFadden.
Speaking
exclusively to ShowBizIreland.com the band
explained how "thrilled" they were when asked to perform.
"We're good friends with Westlife," said Fifth Avenue's
Terry Gaynor, "we've toured with them before,
but I'm really looking forward to meeting The Corrs."
BBC
Executive Michael Henderson described the band
as "quite excellent" and immediately set about finding
a slot on the show for them.
It's
a busy time for Fifth Avenue as the following week
will see the release of their new single "Party All
Night". The new track is the follow up to their recent
hit "Spanish Eyes" and will be in shops on November
23rd.
