The Corrs & Children in Need...
The Irish chart toppers The Corrs and Westlife
will perform tonight in Belfast to help launch this
year's Children In Need appeal in Ireland.
The
girls and boys will be in Belfast city center after
the switch on the telephone donation hotline was switched
on last night in London by the pop babies S Club
7.
Tonight's
television charity spectacular is expected to receive
some 200,000 calls from people wishing to pledge cash
for this year's appeal.
S
Club 7 will also be releasing their latest single,
Have You Ever, to help raise money for this
year's Children In Need.
Organisers
of the BBC Children In Need event will be hoping to
top last year's final total of just over £20 million.
