Vinnie is moving here... FULL TIME!

Actor and former footballer Vinnie Jones has confirmed to the UK press that he is currently building a country house in County Kerry, Ireland.

The hardman, who has stared in movies such as Swordfish and Snatch is making the move so he can more easily follow his beloved country pursuits such as dog racing and fishing.

Jones, 36, has already confirmed that he is spending one week a month in Kenmare to oversee the construction of his hideaway, set in four acres of land.

"Kenmare will be more my home than England," he said to the UK press yesterday. " There is plenty of salmon fishing - I have fished with Jack Charlton there. It's a lovely slow and easy pace of life."

The former Wimbledon hardman is also a regular at Tralee Greyhound track in Kerry and plans to ship some of his prize dogs to Ireland.

Jones also owns homes in Hollywood and Hemel Hempstead.

The full time move of Jones to Ireland, where he also enjoyed his stag night before his wedding, has sparked rumours that the Queen of Pop Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie may also consider moving over to Ireland. Jones and wife Tanya are two of their best friends.

Madonna is already being lined up for next year's Slane Castle concert but as yet the star has to visit the Emerald Isle.
