Russell Crowe looking at Irish Home...

After fulfilling his promise to the late Richard Harris to visit Ireland, Gladiator star Russell Crowe seems to looking at a more permanent presence in the Emerald Isle.

The Hollywood hunk, who claims to have strong Irish roots, was photographed window shopping for properties in auctioneers' offices on St. Stephen's Green. Apparently he was interested in properties around the affluent Ballsbridge area of Dublin.

The Oscar winning actor went virtually unnoticed as he walked about Grafton Street with his burly minders in toe, as he looked scruffy, bloated, and unshaven. No doubt he was looking the worse for wear after several days of mourning his Irish friend in pubs around Limerick and Dublin.

It was reported in the Sunday World newspaper that the star paid out 10,000 euro a day, for five days to have a security helicopter hover over him as moved about the capital... Now that is Hollywood!

It has also been reported that the 38 year old has written a letter of intent to film producer David Ryan as a means to get finance to remake The Ginger Man - the movie that launched Richard Harris' career. Apparently Harris recommenced the role to Crowe when he was still alive.
