Rasher hangs Louis out for Ali...

Bono's wife Ali and other social starlets turned out for Rasher's art exhibition last night which included a portrait of pop svengali Louis Walsh.

The exhibition, at The Blue Leaf Gallery, was by Irish artist Rasher (Mark Kavanagh) and was in aid of Ali Hewson's charity - The Chernobyl Children's Project.

Rasher painted a festive Christmas Card for the charity, 100,000 have been printed and will be sold in Tesco and the Carphone Warehouse nationwide.

On display, among others, was a portrait of Louis Walsh which was commissioned by concert promoter Dermot Desmond of MCD. There was also a commissioned painting of the late King Hussein of Jordan.

Also at the exhibition was Irish actress Victoria Smurfit (About a Boy, Cold Feet) and her husband Doug Baxter, celebrity fitness guru Pat Henry, and Eurovision winner Finnoula Sherry.
