Saint Sinead Helps Shane Walk...

The World's last living hellraiser still raising hell, Shane MacGowan, can miraculously walk again thanks to the saintly goodness of Sinead O'Connor.

The ex-Pogues wildman showed a room full of people last night that he was back on his feet and contrary to medical science is fit, happy, and healthy.

MacGowan was recovering from a broken leg which had him wheelchair bound until recently. Kind hearted Sinead O'Connor took pity on him and allowed him to recuperate under her supervision. Things looked so bad for Shane at the time that Sinead said:

"He is an angel near the end who needs support, he's too far gone to stop drinking, he has an illness that cannot be cured and as far as I can see the end is near for him. He has reached the stage where he physically can't stop himself from drinking, it's done him too much damage."

To show his thanks to Sinead, Shane turned up sober and in good spirits at Orla Clarke's Saints & Suppers art exhibition at the Origin Gallery, Dublin. The exhibition featured a painting of Sinead O'Connor in her priestly robes and looking very holy indeed.

Shane posed below of the artwork and threw down his crutches infront of ShowBizIreland.com's photographers to show the healing powers of Ms. O'Connor.

Apparently Sinead could not attend the exhibition as she was babysitting... But which ailing star?
