Ronan's Guns, Money & Home Cooking...

For the past year Irish singer Ronan Keating has been making every effort to toughen-up his squeaky clean image - now the ex-Boyzoner is teaming up with Vinnie Jones in a gangster movie.

Anyone keeping an eye on Ronan Keating over the past year will have seen a drastic image change in the young star with tattoos, cropped hair, tank-tops, Harley Davidson's, and revelations of teenage drinking binges.

Now the father of two has taken the next step and found himself a role in the next Vinnie Jones movie, Guns, Money and Home Cooking, where he will play an inexperience armed robber.

The plot of the film follows a group of friends who decide to try their hand at crime after leaving college.

Keating said of the movie: "It's tongue in cheek. Vinnie is in it. Anna Friel is in it. I play a young Irish inexperienced gangster. They came looking for me. I didn't go to a casting or anything. I'm s*** scared because I've never acted before."

And just in case any of you Keating fans are afraid he might turn his back on his singing career Ronan insists, "I hope it works out, but music is still my number one priority."

According to reports filming on Guns, Money and Home Cooking will start this coming January in Cornwall.
