Geldof Flies in with His Girls...

Just prior to all the Band Aid recording that went on at the weekend Bob Geldof flew into Ireland with his four daughters and girlfriend - perhaps he was looking for a baby-sitter?

ShowBiz Ireland caught up with our favourite Irishman Bob Geldof last week as flew into Dublin (with his button fly partially open!) with his stunning daughters Pixie, Peaches, Fifi and Tiger Lily aswell as his French girlfriend Jeanne Marine.

We were a little puzzled about this flying visit to Ireland with his full clan with him as this was the weekend he was due to record the new Band Aid single with the likes of U2, Joss Stone, Robbie Williams, Snow Patrol, The Darkness and The Sugababes...

Perhaps Bob was planning to leave his daughters with their granddad who still lives in Dun Laoghaire and very much dotes on them?

Either way it was a very busy time for our Bob who re-recorded the Do they Know It's Christmas single with a number of top acts from the UK and Ireland. But no Westlife or Brian McFadden?

The video is due to be broadcast today at 17:50 simultaneously on BBC One, BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4, Five, Sky One and other channels with an introduction from Madonna!
