Ireland's answer to the MTV Awards, The Meteors, were launched yesterday by stunning model Glenda Gilson and comedian Patrick Kielty with some good news for U2 and some not-so good news for Westlife...

Celebrity Love Island host Patrick Kielty will be booked-up for a very big date on the 2nd February 2006 as he will be hosting one of Ireland's best annual events, The Meteor Awards.
