Satanic Sluts Cause A Stir...
With a name like 'The Satantic Sluts' and an S&M burlesque bondage striptease act thrown in for good measure, you could bet your balls-to-a-barndance that your prudish Irish bible bashers would be up-in-arms when Georgina Baillie and her gothic vixens made an appearance on The Late Late Show. But not even an impromptu phone call from Russell Brand & Jonathan Ross could have outraged your average Irish viewer into making a complaint last Friday night. Why? Well, turns out the The Satanic Sluts stage show is all a bit meh...

Georgina Baillie |
Everyone felt sorry for poor Georgina Baillie over the whole Andrew Sachs debacle that blew-up in the press very recently, and in no time Manuel's Granddaughter was everywhere through no fault of her own... With comedian Russell Brand boasting on air about bedding the beauty for starters, the rest of her sex life was soon tabloid fodder. Instant notoriety.

Georgina Baillie & The Satanic Sluts |
It turned-out raven haired Georgina is part of a burlesque strip troupe called The Satanic Sluts - so she has been able to turn all of the negative publicity into a positive and grabbed a few high profile bookings for her gang of Fem-Goths. And why not?

Georgina Baillie |
So when The Late Late Show caused a media coupe and booked The Satanic Sluts, thus getting an interview with Georgina over Manuelgate, we could almost predict that prudish viewers and the easily shocked Irish press would be up in arms. Not so. The main complaints from those who witnessed the Satanic Sluts in action last Friday night were - their act was terribly choreographed, badly rehearsed, their timing was off, it wasn't very sexy or shocking, and it all looked very amateur indeed. In fact, we hear Satan is taking a law suit against them to block them from using his name... Sluts should slap them with an injunction too!

Tommy Hilfiger, Dee Ocleppo |
Philanthropic designer Tommy Hilfiger was also a guest on Friday night with his stunning fiancée Dee Ocleppo in tow. Tommy was in Dublin last week to launch his new flagship Hilfiger store on Grafton Street, just in time for the Christmas rush. It has taken the US icon 4 years to get a foothold on Ireland's busiest thoroughfare, and it's handily located just across the way from Brown Thomas.

Tommy Hilfiger, Dee Ocleppo |
So proud is Tommy of his designer gear that even signed a pap's Hilfiger jacket with his moniker as he entered RTE studios. We've seen celebs doing a lot of things to the paparazzi, but actually writing on one is a first. Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out to be a fake Hilfiger? eBay, we hear your call.

Kelly O'Neill, Shane Curry |
But our total favourite guests on Pat Kenny's show was the stars of award winning Irish movie 'Kisses' - Kelly O'Neill and Shane Curry. Plucked from obscurity to take the cheeky leads in this small budget homegrown flick, we think this film could go as big as Oscar winning 'Once.'

Kelly O'Neill, Shane Curry |
And we're not the only ones. At a screening of the movie at the IFI last Friday, a visibly moved Jim Sheridan told us in no uncertain terms that Kisses has "Oscar Potential." And he should know considering he brought Daniel Day-Lewis & Brenda Fricker Oscar glory with 'My Left Foot.' One to watch folks.

David Kelly |
Other guests on last Friday's Late Late Show included actor David Kelly, comedian PJ Gallagher and singer Colm Wilkinson...
