There was much hullabaloo in the papers at the weekend around the Miss Bikini Ireland contest as last year's winner never went forward to the finals in China... Apparently it was all down to the actual international event being cancelled and rescheduled time after time and wotnot. Shame, we thought our Lisa Hogan was in with a fighting chance.

But, as they say, the show must go-on and go-on it did at The Stillorgan Park Hotel last Saturday night. Loads of girls in bikinis and stilettos all vying for the Irish slot in Swimsuit USA International Model Search...

This year the lovely Valerie Plodakova took away the winner's sash with Sarah Dubby & Barbara Cosgrove taking second and third place respectively... Well done gals, brave bunch of bikini babes.
