Stars come out for Harris' 70th...
Irish acting legend Richard Harris was in flying form on Sunday night as he
arrived in Dublin Castle for a charity £300 pounds a plate dinner to
celebrate his 70th birthday.
The veteran hellraiser was honoured for a career of over 50 years in acting
by a number of Internationally known stars at the dinner.

Actor John Hurt,
who now lives in Ireland and starred with Harris in The Field was one of the
first to arrived to the black tie bash.
He was soon followed by film director Neil Jordan (Interview with a Vampire
and Michael Collins) and producer Noel Pearson (Dancing at Lunasa).
Among the other guests were former Irish prime Ministers and a who's who of
Irish society who had all come to honour the great Limerick born actor who
attended the castle with his family and a handful of close friends.
All the money raised on the night went to a new charity for homeless people
in Ireland.
