Corrs support Amnesty in jail...

Irish supergroup The Corrs made a surprise press launch yesterday morning in Dublin for Amnesty International. The Irish section of Amnesty launched it's largest ever campaign - Take a Step to Stamp out Torture - at Ireland's oldest jail (now a museum) Kilmainham with the help of all four members of the Irish band who arrived to show their support.

Part of the jail was covered with huge, bright yellow and black "Torture Free Zones" tape and there was poster size photographs of some of the victims featured in the campaign.

The Corr's displayed some of the tape and talked about Amnesty's Campaign. Poet Paul Meehan also read a poem written specially for the launch, From Source to Sea was it's title.
