Keating duets with Elton John...

Boyzone star Ronan Keating has finally got some response from the USA a market the singer has failed to break both as a member of Boyzone and as a solo artist. Over the weekend the singer was celebrating finally cracking the American crowds but only when he sang in front of 10,000 fans with legend Elton John.

The Irish Star did a duet with Elton as part of Elton's Rocket Man concert tin Madison Square Gardens in New York.

Elton introduced Ronan as "one of the biggest exports we have" before they sang Your Song. Elton defiantly forgot Ronan was Irish not English like himself! Elton went on to sing 29 of his hit songs and also performed with singers Mary J Blige and Bryan Adams.

Ronan has also just confirmed that his has recorded the famous song Fairytale of New York made famous by the wild Irish band the Pogues. The song made famous by singer Shane McGown and Kristy McCall is on the B side of Ronan's next single The Way you make me feel which was written by Bryan Adams.

The song originally made Christmas No2 in the charts back in 1987.
