Pilkington marries her Director...

Irish actress Lorraine Pilkington married in secret last weekend in Wicklow to her film Director boyfriend Simon Massey.

The couple had a small private ceremony in a local Wicklow church before joining 200 guests for a reception in Powerscourt gardens.

The couple were also joined on the day by their four-month-old baby boy Milo. Guests in Powerscourt enjoyed a lavish spread of Seafood Terrine followed by a choice of Salmon or Beef.

Ireland's answer to Uma Thurman met her now husband Simon two years ago on the set of the now defunked Ballykissangel, once known as the Viagra of soaps, working up a veritable lather of romances.

The amorous couple met up again last year and have obviously been busy since.

Simon was her director on the BBC show The Monarch of the Glen, which the pretty Pilkington finished filming last year.

Something of a Method actress, lovely Lorraine deserves an Oscar for the research she has put into the role of besotted girlfriend over the years with Dunnes Stores heir Dr Andrew Heffernan and photographer Conor Horgan, among others.
