Dolores:
Woman of the Year...
The lead singer with the Irish rock group The Cranberries,
Dolores O'Riordan, picked up a woman of
the year award last night in a star-studded ceremony
in Dublin.
The
singer who gave birth for the second time last January
was in the company of her husband Don Burton
in Dublin's Four Season hotel for the awards.
The singer won the Irish Tatler Woman of the Year
award for Music in recognition of her popular
musical talent and for her great strength in making
her comeback after such personal set backs.
Her
new album - Wake up and Smell the Coffee is
currently on release.
Other winners on the night were the former Irish president
Mary Robinson, the former Northern Ireland
secretary Mo Mowlan, the author Marian Keyes
and the radio presenter Marian Finucane.
