Westlife Go Green with Hits...

Irish boyband Westlife seem to have jumped on the environmental bandwagon with their Greatest Hits CD.

The chart topping band intend to offset 33,000 euro worth of CD sales to tree planting in Ireland in conjunction with the Future Forests initiative.

Shane Filan told the press recently "Future Forests is a great idea and we have known about it for ages. Obviously we would have to have our forest planted in Ireland."

The Future Forest concept aims to counteract the carbon emissions produced by mass CD production by planting trees.
