Jim Sheridan's Faithful Fight...

Veteran Irish Director Jim Sheridan was left scratching his head last week as 60's singer Marianne Faithful pulled the rights to her Biopic away from him.

Faithful, 55, in an interview with the Evening Herald said last week: "I'm taking back the rights. I didn't like what Jim Sheridan did with it".

Sheridan's company Hells Kitchen, which made My Left Foot, had been developing a script based on Faithful's life but it now seems that the singer didn't like the treatment of the adaptation.

Marianne Faithful was one of the pioneers of celebrity during the 'swinging sixties' when she partied with likes of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones.
