Alicia
Keys can't stop falling in love with Dublin...
New York R&B diva Alicia Keys played The
Point in Dublin to a sell out crowd on Monday
night, after playing Belfast the night before.
Alicia

The
young star looked stunning in gold pants, and a red
hat with the word "LOVE" on a large gold
necklace. The Irish crowd couldn't help "falling
in love" with the star as she belted out
tracks from her album, Songs in a Minor.

Alicia
was born and raised in New York, where she studied
classical music from Beethoven to Chopin.
At the tender age of fourteen she wrote her first
song Butterflyz that appears on her Debut album
Songs in A Minor.
This
album debuted at No 1 and stayed in the top 20 for
29 weeks going over 7 million Platinum worldwide.
Alicia rates Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone and
Marvin Gaye, as her inspiration.
This
can clearly be seen in her own unique style comprising
Classical and Soul.
Since her arrival on the music she has notched up
an array of awards including 2 World Music Awards,
2 NAACP Image Awards, 3 Soul Train Awards, 1 ECCHO
Award, a VMA, 2 Billboard, 2 American Music Awards
and 5 Grammy's and all at the tender age of 21.
Her
second album is scheduled for a 2003 release.
