Seabiscuit Premiere comes to Goffs...

A guestlist of who's who in Irish horse racing turned out for the Premiere of Seabiscuit where the Goffs venue in Co Kildare was transformed into a cinema for the one-off event.

Hats off to the big movie companies launching their films in Ireland recently, making their Premieres events to really look forward to.

And last night was no exception at the Premiere of Seabiscuit where Goffs was transformed into a top quality cinema equipped with motorised buggies to transport VIPs from the car park to the venue with running horse racing commentary from the movie.

The charity Premiere, in aid of the Kieran Kelly Fund / The Irish Injured Jockeys Fund, was also attended by Hall of Fame Jockey Gary Stevens who stars in the film as George "The Iceman" Woolf.

Starring Tobey Maguire and Jeff Bridges this true story traces the story of half-blind ex-prizefighter and mustang breaker who team up with a millionaire and his undersized horse, Seabiscuit. The men bring Seabiscuit incredible heights, helping him earn Horse of the Year honors in 1938.

SEABISCUIT will be releasing Nationwide on November 7.
