Andie's Moved to Tara Road...

The star of Four Weddings and a Funeral Andie MacDowell has left the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and moved in with Brenda Fricker on Tara Road...

She is the spokesmodel for L'Oreal Cosmetics and voted by People Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world and now Andie MacDowell has taken up residence on Tara Road.

But not permanently mind, she is currently in Dublin filming the Maeve Binchy adapted novel Tara Road alongside actresses of the caliber of Oscar winner Brenda Fricker and Olivia Williams from the Sixth Sense.

And it's good to see Andie smiling and busy working as she has just divorced her husband, former high school classmate Rhett Hartzog, after nearly three years of marriage.

ShowBiz Ireland caught up with Andie on the set of the Gillies MacKinnon directed movie this week as she and the cast and crew took up residence at the house where most of the filming will take place.

The plot of Tara Road revolves around the story of how the lives of an American woman and an Irishwoman change when they take part in a house swap.

MacDowell joins a strong cast in this Noel Pearson produced movie which also includes Ruby Wax, Stephen Rea, and singer Maria Doyle Kennedy.

Tara Road will film in Dublin for the next 3 weeks before moving location to South Africa.
