Denise & Jay's Dublin Date...

At the end of the Nineties lads mag favourite Denise Van Outen and her fiancee Jamiroquay's Jay Kay were the biggest ShowBiz couple around before they broke up - have they now rekindled their romance in Dublin?

A few weeks back ShowBiz Ireland was just going-through-the-motions waiting for Jamiroquay's Jay Kay outside the Morisson Hotel as his entourage and he went to The Point Theatre for their massive sellout show...

But to our surprise Jay's stunning ex-fiancee Denise Van Outen emerged from the luxury Hotel and continued on to the Jamiroquay concert where she watched the entire gig from the security / mosh pit!

Both Denise and Jay went back to the Morisson hotel after the concert and stayed the night there - we photographed Jay Kay leaving there drinking a can of Redbull the following day.

Now we're not insinuating they spent the night together in the same room or anything but without jumping-to-conclusions it looks like Denise and Jay are a hot couple again?

And speaking of concerts that went down in The Point recently wee Daniel O'Donnell brought his Blue Jeans tour and bag of Rock 'n' Roll anthems to the venue last week...

And as usual his loyal legions of mainly middle-aged women packed out the entire concert hall for Daniel's new show and the ladies just went crazy for his new dance moves - although no knickers were thrown while we were there!

Another one for the ladies - Michael Bolton also gave a stirring performance in The Point last week... According to to some non-fans who were dragged kicking-and-screaming to the concert by their wives, it was the best live vocal performance in Ireland for some years. Go Michael!

ShowBiz Ireland also caught up with one of our favourites at the weekend - USSR born and Belfast raised singer Katie Melua was in HMV on Grafton Street on Saturday promoting her new album "Piece By Piece." Go and buy this one folks - it's an instant classic...

A.M. O'GRADY @ THE POWERSCOURT TOWNCENTRE

And speaking of new albums Irish singer / songwriter A.M. O'Grady was in the Powerscourt Towncentre last week promoting her spectacular debut album "Precious Lines."

We don't know what A.M. stands for but she certainly has a fresh new sound - so check her out aswell when you're going out to buy Katie Melua's new CD.
