A Pink & Black Hair Raising Affair...

We can almost feel our legs again. Hic! Yes, you guessed it folks - we got all pretty pi**ed in pink with half of the nightclub going population of Dublin boogying on down in Lillies Bordello last bank holiday Sunday. The Pink & Black Affair turned out to be the bash of the weekend but with hair raising consequences...

T'was a rather rash and raunchy affair at the crazy pink and black themed party in Lillies last Sunday night. We don't know what it is about hot ladies in those two contrasting tones, but hell dude, it just does it for us. Schwing.

Hoards of faces off Dublin's social scene crammed themselves into the Grafton Street hotspot for the party which exploded into one of those stand on seats type rave-a-thons with Ivano Cafolla spinning the tunes, most of which coming from back in the day when tunes were tunes.

And thankfully there wasn't any of the "do you know who I am?" brand of punter at Lillies as there was a strictly no comps policy for VIPs at the front door on the night. As the pink theme suggests, the night was about raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness, so everyone was only more than happy to cough-up the mere 8 Euro entrance fee. Proper order too.

And the fund raising didn't stop there, for the night’s three Afterdark.ie promoters - Ivano Cafolla, Paolo Cafolla, and Louis Williams - passed around the pot for further contributions egged on by the fact that they were all going to get their heads shaved live in the club.

Brave lads. Or were they? Paolo went straight for the Number One blade whereas vanity got the better of Ivano and Louis who initially looked like they were just sitting in the barber chair for a mild trim off their spiky dos... Something for the weekend Sir?

But after much berating and jeering from some rather rowdy and mouthy messers, i.e. the ShowBiz.ie massive, Ivano and Louis soon saw the light and got the whole feckin' lot shaved off... No half measures here lads...

A great night was had and over two thousand Euros was raised from generous donations. Even brave boozer Sean O'Brien coughed-up a hundred quid to have his own barnet shaved to the bone after downing more than one half shandies. Well it could have been worse; our Sean could be waking up this morning with a 'I Heart Mum' tattoo on his arse instead of a skinhead.
