That's right folks, there's another Irish 'Miss' pageant on the horizon and this time we're all for it. Why sez you? Well, some genius decided to take all the lovely-girlness outta the proceedings and boil it all down to a bikini parade. Yup. It's Miss Bikini Ireland 2012...

We've been covering the Miss Ireland and Miss Universe Ireland contests for years now and we're kinda done with the dated Debs dress parade bits. Let's face it, the lads only really perk-up when the ladies rock out in their swimwear... Tru dat.

So this coming October 19th we'll be sending our snappers out The Wright Venue way for finals of Miss Bikini Ireland 2012... Should be a fun night... Plus, the hottest bodied babe goes forth to Miss Bikini International 2012 in Shanghai this coming November. Nice.

MBI2012 was launched at the Red Cow yesterday, and the following brave gals bikinied-up: Kelsey Flood, Cathriona McGann, Lisa Hogan, Rebeccah O'Rourke, Stacey Collins, Kayleigh Ruth, Emma Robertson, Danielle Geraghty, Jennifer O'Sullivan, Nicola Murphy, Kimberly Behan, Eleanor Duggan, Kerrie Francis, and loads more... In fact, there was about 40 gals in bikinis swanning about the Red Cow.
