Mariah has a pop at Westlife...

Superstar Mariah Carey has slammed the Irish boyband Westlife for being full of themselves and egotistical, The pop Diva made her outburst as the boys and herself were getting ready to launch their new single "Against All Odds" a cover of the Phil Collins classic.

"The whole thing wasn't a drama or anything but even though they are just starting out they can get a little egotistical" Mariah said. "They get full of themselves a tad, But, why not? These guys have had five number one's internationally and that's pretty impressive" she continued to tell the Irish Star newspaper.

The pop diva finished by saying "At the end of the day they are really cool. Down to earth and I hope that quality stays with them because it is such as shame when you see people whose heads get blown out of proportion after just two hits."
