Disney coming to Ardmore...

Ireland's Ardmore Studios is the location for another Hollywood blockbuster. The studio which helped make Mel Gibson's Braveheart and Liam Neeson's Michael Collins is the location for another big movie later this year. Disney Pictures are to make Reign of Fire in Ardmore.

According to sources the film is a special effects thriller in which British and American's team-up to defeat dragons that have taken over the earth.

Recent renewals in the Governments Section 481 tax incentive act for the film industry means that this and the weakness of the Irish punt makes filming in Ireland extra attractive to film makers around the world.
