MacGowan & Victoria split...

Victoria Clarke and Shane MacGowan have split after fifteen years together. The former Pogue and his girlfriend have decided to call it a day and break up.

A tad ironic and bit out of the way of their plans in which they told Hello magazine last March that they were getting married and were ready to sell the pictures to them.

The story goes that one day last Christmas, Shane decided it was time to leave London and head back to Tipperary. Then last April, Victoria, his long-term girlfriend and biographer, arrived in Dublin, intending to stay the weekend. She never quite made it as far as Tipperary.

While Shane remains in the old family farmhouse in Tipperary, with a sign on the door that says Trespassers will be shot, Victoria is still in Dublin. They speak on the phone every few days.
